Things My Daughter Does to Annoy Me
· Asking me if she can now do what I told her not to do 5 minutes ago
· Sending me messages from my mother in law’s (who is only downstairs) phone asking me questions like how am I doing, what am I doing. In Punjabi.
· Fixing herself a snack because I told her to when she rejected the food I cooked for her.
· Breathing.
· Rolling over to my side of the bed calling it ‘Parion ka Deys’ pushing me to the edge and leaving 85% of the bed empty all night long.
· Getting away with her mess ups using her sense of humor.
· Turning up covered in mud from head to toe grinning sheepishly.
· Lying because shes scared of me.
· Not lying because shes not scared of me.
· Being annoyed when I tell her to explain again some technology stuff she understands better than me.
· Having better creative ideas and rejecting mine for our mutual videos.
· Her inexhaustible energy, optimism and resilience.
